We want your knowledge and expertise! **Job Summary and Qualifications** As an Echo sonographer, you will work with a team that considers themselves a family where each member works hard to support each other. We are looking for someone who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. In this role: + You will, under the direction of the Manager, be responsible for performing cardiac ultrasound procedures such as transthoracic, stress, transesophageal, intra-operative echocardiograms within the inpatient and outpatient settings. + You will accurately prepare patients for procedures and correlate patient history with all tests that have been ordered by physicians. + You will always ensure that equipment is clean and in proper working condition. If equipment malfunctions are identified, the Manager will be notified immediately. + You will follow established surveillance, prevention and control of infection policies and procedures to identify and reduce the risks of acquiring or transmitting infection by use of personal protective measures. + You will maintain a clean and organized work environment including but not limited to; staff work area, patient exam rooms, equipment and supplies. + You will expertly perform all ultrasound procedures in assigned specialty service areas utilizing a variety of equipment and techniques in accordance with established clinical practice standards, hospital guidelines and protocols. **What qualifications you will need:** + Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date + Registered Cardiac Sonographer, or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Ogden Regional Medical Center has been delivering exceptional care for over 75 years.
