***Cardiac Tech for Electrophysiology (EP) Lab***

This is a part-time position with day shift hours located in Norfolk, VA

Job Requirements

Required: High School Diploma or EquivalentRequired: BLSPreferred: 1-2 years of patient care experiencePreferred: EKG Holter Monitor Hook-up ExperiencePreferred: Cardiographic Tech Certificate (CCT)Required: On-the-job Training

Position Overview

Aids physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of heart, lung and blood vessel disorders by conducting invasive and non-invasive diagnostic tests of cardiovascular and pulmonary systems; maintaining equipment and recording test results.

The Cardiac Technician will assist staff in the Cath Holding Care Unit. Cardiac Tech will prep patient for procedures done in the Cath, Non-Invasive and EP Lab. Tech will place IVs, draw labs, set up telemetry monitor, pull sheaths, and transport patients.
