Overview
AdventHealth Ocala is seeking a board-certified cardiologist to grow cardiovascular medicine at its 425-bed non-profit hospital in the heart of Florida. Candidates should be experienced & highly motivated to expand and manage a comprehensive cardiology practice as we open our brand new multi-million-dollar Medical Office Building summer of 2025. The cardiovascular group at AdventHealth Ocala offers comprehensive invasive, structural and electrophysiology services. In addition, outstanding cardiothoracic and vascular surgery programs complement the service line. The need for cardiology services is great in our community as Ocala has been named one of the fastest growing cities in Florida. The program has been designated as a Heart Care Center by the American College of Cardiology and holds accreditations in cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, heart failure transcatheter valve therapy and as a chest pain center with PCI. Outstanding programs in standard and intensive cardiac rehabilitation are offered at multiple locations. Research opportunities are offered through the AdventHealth Research Institute.

Hospital Description
With a rich history of medical leadership, AdventHealth Ocala has served the people of Marion county for more than 100 years. Together, we've experienced many "firsts," including creating the TimberRidge ER, an off-site emergency department that's the first of its kind in Florida and becoming the first hospital in the county to offer minimally invasive heart procedures like TAVR, MitraClip™ and the Watchman™ implant.
