Cardiology Tier 2 Implementation Engineer - Remote

Growing together.** The Cardiology Tier 2 Implementation Engineer provides advanced support to the Services team and interacts with other departments such as R&D and Support. Responsible for handling issue escalations in a timely and efficient manner, providing status updates, and communicating both internally as well as to customers. Responsibility may involve implementation, testing, and training on Cardiology products and/or solutions, as well as providing advanced level of technical support and troubleshooting (Interfaces/software/network, infrastructure, 3rd parties) to both internal and external customers. This position may require 10% travel & require after hours work You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. **Primary Responsibilities:** + Adhere to product issue escalation workflow and collaborate on process improvement + Ownership and Timely Resolution of Implementation Issues + Regular follow-up on escalations with managers and implementation teams + De-escalate escalations back to T1 for verification and closure. + Take Lead Role of Product Champion, Learning applications and new features + Subject matter expert with product configuration options and training as well as product documentation + Organize and communicate feature requests and efficiencies to R&D + Work closely with support and R&D in maintaining and improving hand off process efficiencies + Resolve technical problems, analyze and evaluate issues that are escalated to Triage, working closely with Tier 3 as needed + Verify the success of issue resolution by customer prior to closing issue + Identify additional education needs of the Services team + Support sales with questions during the sales process + Coordinate issue resolution efforts with other departments to ensure timely and efficient resolutions are met and customer satisfaction is upheld + Provide On Call Support on a rotational basis + May assist with deployment of patches in emergency situations such as product safety recalls or customer escalations + Working under tight timelines, managing multiple projects + Occasional short-notice travel (approximately 10%) which may also include international travel You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. **Required Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Technology Diploma OR 3+ years of Cardiology experience implementing information systems or related experience building and configuring systems, including supporting both internal and external customers. + Experience with Windows Server and MS SQL (specifically queries, solid understanding of backup and restoration procedures, SQL clustering, etc.) + Experience with Medical Information standards (HL7, XML, or DICOM) + Knowledge in cybersecurity + Experience with networking fundamentals, including Ethernet, TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, & Load balancers + Experience with DNS & Active Directory + Experience with enterprise class server hardware and virtualization technologies + Experience with requesting and implementing SSL certificates + Able/willing to travel approximately 10% of the time as business needs dictate both domestic and internationally **Preferred Qualifications:** + Powershell and command prompt + Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to systematically approach complex hardware and software problems involving multiple technologies + Expert level knowledge of Cardiology applications and workflows + Well versed in Cardiology Web, Multi Web & Citrix/VDI deployment **Qualified candidates will be expected to demonstrate:** + Ability to handle multiple escalations + Solid analytical and problem solving skills + Thrive in working in a fast-paced environment, multi-task and demonstrate flexibility + Self starter, able to work independently without supervision + Solid time management and organizational skills + Solid Team Player + Ability to mentor and train + Excellent customer service skills + Excellent written and verbal communication skills *All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group’s Telecommuter Policy The salary range for this role is $71,600 to $140,600 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
