Job Description

The District Manager (DM) is responsible for the development and performance of all field personnel in their district for sales and activity. This position staffs and directs their team and provides leadership towards the achievement of objectives in line with company vision and values. The DM will need to observe and identify opportunities and challenges and subsequently develop, plan, implement, and follow through with action plans to positively influence opportunities and challenges within and through their team; this includes the development of team members towards corporate growth. Evaluation of success, optimizing the opportunity and effectively communicating results to partners and EVERSANA internal stakeholders.

The District Manager will participate in field based activities, including but not limited to sales leadership/representative field interactions and coaching, representing sales leadership at individual and group sales presentations to targeted healthcare professionals, analysis of performance data and market trends in order to identify business opportunities, creating comprehensive and detailed business plans for execution at launch and collaborating with various Headquarter-based colleagues/stakeholders to develop materials and customer-focused initiatives targeted for a diverse range of healthcare professionals. The District Manager must have a player/coach mentality with a willingness to own high-value account relationships.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provides strategic and tactical direction to the sales team to achieve market growth, market penetration, and market development objectivesEnsures alignment and partnership between EVERSANA and our client with the sales teams and the execution of plans to leverage the launch of our client’s product fullyAccountable for the achievement of revenue and implant goals for products and services in an assigned regionAccountable for driving new product launches and achieving our customer expansion goalsDevelop and ensure the implementation of the Cardiac Ablation Solutions sales strategyProvides strategic leadership for the sales force and ensures alignment and partnership with Cardiology sales managementSuccessfully lead the team to achieve market development and penetration in key patient populationsUtilizes field visits and individual or group meetingsDevelop and coach employees in sales skills, product knowledge, teamwork, time and territory management, competitive knowledge, and career goals/pursuitsCommunicate all corporate and regional missions, goals, and activitiesDirects and motivates personnel to achieve goalsProvides ongoing feedback/coaching and regularly scheduled performance reviews and quarterly business reviewsAssist employees with Individual Development Plans (IDP's)Develop and implement strategies to achieve short and long-term business objectivesDevelop and manage budgets and forecastsEnsuring efficient, effective use of inventory and expensesCross Collaborative relationships with internal teams (with Reps, Accounts, Regional management, and home office personnel)Develop ethical, long-term customer relationships and represent EVERSANA and our client to customersRecruit and interview candidates to maintain strong personnel "bench," hire top candidates for open positions, and meet workplace diversity goalsProvide feedback of marketing intelligence to sales and marketing managementTravel: Travel as required up to 60% based on Regional Travel for day-to-day management of team.

Coach, mentor, educate and develop direct and indirect team members to enhance individual selling skills and elevate overall team performance.Hold direct reports accountable to behaviors and expectations.Interview, select and supervise the activities of the department staff; communicate interpret and discuss with team the company policies and procedures.Determine job objectives, work methods and performance standards; review performance relative to departmental objectives discussion appraisal with each employee and performance; authorize and communicate salary changes, promotions, transfers, discipline and discharge and administer all other personnel actions.

Qualifications

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university requiredExperience and/or Training:2+ years of pharmaceutical sales management experience (managing field sales reps)5+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry with advanced understanding of the industry and therapeutic classHighly effective organizational skills to balance multiple prioritiesAdvanced business analytical skills to identify trends, opportunities and threatsAbility to problem solve and determine actions to drive business or overcome challengesDemonstrates solid clinical product knowledgeBusiness analysis and planning skills that drive field reimbursement objectivesExcellent judgment and decision-making skillsAbility to articulate the scientific aspects of treatments and therapeutic areasProven ability to deliver candid, effective feedback and efficiently manage performanceAbility to develop talent for promotional opportunitiesAbility to create a culture of winning and full team engagementCollaborates and can influence without authority across organizationsLicenses/Certificates: Clean Driving RecordTechnology/Equipment Computer Skills; Moderate knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and videoconferencing platforms (Teams, Zoom, GoTo Meeting)
