As Cardiovascular Technician II, you will use various imaging tools to help physicians identify and diagnose issues with the heart and the surrounding blood vessels. Within this unit, you will also collaborate with fellow caregivers and supervisors to facilitate a positive, welcoming patient experience, from initial introduction to final sendoff. At Cleveland Clinic, you can make a lasting difference in the lives of patients and their families. **A caregiver in this position works varying shifts from 7:00AM - 3:30PM and 3:00PM - 11:30PM.** A caregiver who excels in this role will: + Perform 12-lead Electrocardiograms, Holter Monitor Hook-Ups and Cardiac Stress Testing, including 24-hour, 48-hour, and 30-day event monitors and/or EEG testing. + Notify physicians, nurses or managers of abnormal results. + Notify secretaries of needed supplies. + Maintain/troubleshoot equipment and notify Clinical Engineering of ongoing problems that cannot be resolved. + Process test results before and following physician interpretations. Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + High School Diploma or GED + Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + Credentials as an Allied Health Professional + Completion of a Cardiac Technician and/or EEG Program + Six months of experience as an ECG tech and/or Stress Testing Our caregivers continue to create the best outcomes for our patients across each of our facilities.
