Cardiovascular Technologist
**Building Location:** 32nd Avenue Building **Department:** 12531 Cardiac Cath Lab **Job Description:** Under supervision, functions as a member of a team utilizing equipment and services. Sets up, operates and monitors specialized equipment and supplies utilized for cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures. Functions as assistant to cardiologist or surgeons during catheter-based and devise implant procedures. **Education Qualifications:** Central:Must be a graduate of a Radiology Technology, Cardiovascular Technology or equivalent program. If not a graduate of above programs must have 4yrs of direct cath lab experience.West:Graduation from an accredited Cardiovascular Technology/Radiologic Technology school. **Licensure/Certification Qualifications:** Central: Must be currently registered Radiological Technologist or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist or must become RT(R) or RCIS certified within 18 months of hire or transfer. Current Certification (or within 1 month of hire) as American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS). Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (or within 6 months of hire). West: Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support required.
