Heart Plaza Imaging is a busy outpatient cardiovascular diagnostic center. We perform echocariogram exams, ultrasound vascular exams, venous ablation procedures, and cardiac stress testing. Job Summary Provides care under the immediate supervision of a Registered Sonographer. The student performs diagnostic cardiac and vascular ultrasound procedures and provides patient care. Assists patients in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment. Responsible for assisting the Imaging Leadership team with a variety of duties including administrative support, maintenance of logs, and records. Ensures documentation is complete prior to and after the procedure. Interfaces with physician's offices and physicians during the patient care continuum. Aids in patient care as necessary with tasks such as room cleaning and way-finding. Qualifications Must be currently enrolled in an Associate's or Bachelor's degree program in cardiovascular ultrasound and having completed 2 semesters. Have completed two semesters of cardiovascular ultrasound clinicals. Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained through re-training for duration of employment. Must remain in good standing with school and remain actively enrolled in current ultrasound program. Schedule PRN - Weekdays 6:30 am to 5:00 pm Work Shift Day Position Type PRN
