First Shift- Part time
Rotating Call, Rotating Holidays, and Rotating Weekends
Our Stress Lab department is dedicated to providing cardiac stress testing using a patient-centered approach. Our team of credentialed registered nurses as well as other healthcare professionals help to provide patients with quality care in order to assist physicians in diagnosing, managing and treating cardiovascular conditions.
​Description:
Responsible for performance of quality vascular procedures and all related activities such as processing of reports, patient education and on call responsibilities.
Abdominal Vascular experience preferred by not required.
Provide direct patient care to patients of all ages.
Mentor other ultrasound technologists, performing vascular procedures, to ensure quality of procedures performed within the department.
Technologist communicates procedure diagnostic information to physician(s)
Requirements:
High School Diploma
Life Support Training or Certification (ACLS, BLS, PALS, etc.)
ARDMS or CCI board certification for Echocardiography or Vascular
Must obtain Secondary Modality within 2 years of hire
Must be credentialed as one of the following:
Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) from American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
Registered Technologist Vascular Sonography [RT(VS)]
