TITLE: Cardiovascular Ultrasound Technologist / RVT / RDCS / RCS / RVS

•Registered by the ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) as a RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) or RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer or Registered by CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International) as a RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) or RVS (Registered Vascular Specialist) required.
•BLS certification within 30 days of employment required. ACLS certification within 6 months of employment preferred.
•Previous cardiovascular and peripheral vascular disease experience preferred.
Hours and compensation potential:
•Position is full time, Day shift
•Compensation range is $32hr-$46hr depending on experience.
•A full benefits package is included as well.
What you’ll be doing:
•Responsible for independently performing professional level assessments and a variety of non-invasive studies using ultrasound and related diagnostic technology as appropriate and records the results and clinical preliminary impressions as indicated.
•The sonographer encounters difficult problems related to examination evaluations daily and must resolve them with limited supervision.
•There is daily contact with professionals and families.
•This position is a full performance Cardiovascular Sonographer with advanced knowledge of cardiac and peripheral vascular anatomy, physiology, and disease.
•The sonographer assists with transthoracic echo, transesophageal and stress testing; as well as peripheral non-invasive testing, carotid and transcranial duplex, aorta, and renal duplex scans.
