Care Coordination Assistant - MOHS Team

The Opportunity
In this role, you will provide vital administrative and scheduling support for the Mohs surgical service line, ensuring seamless coordination of patient care and team operations. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for healthcare excellence, we’d love to hear from you!

What You’ll Do

Coordinate scheduling and administrative services for Mohs procedures, including referral management and patient check-out.Review and prioritize referrals with the Mohs surgeon(s) to allocate procedures appropriately within the schedule.Serve as the primary contact for phone inquiries, offering excellent customer service to patients and providers.Facilitate external reconstruction referrals to plastic surgery and ophthalmology as needed.Maintain and organize provider Outlook calendars, clinic schedules, team meetings, and huddles; prepare minutes and other administrative tasks.Support the clinical team with operational needs as required.Inventory and order supplies to ensure patient needs are consistently met.

What You Bring

A strong background working in a medical environment.Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with patients and colleagues.Critical thinking skills and the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.Proven ability to work with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities effectively.Proficiency in administrative tasks such as scheduling, inventory management, and communication tools (e.g., Outlook).
