This is a Full-Time Position

 

Pay: $19-$21/HR


Summary of Job:

 

The Office Manager (OM) works under the direct supervision of the Clinic Director or Assistant Director (where applicable). Duties include, but are not limited to, supervising front office staff (where applicable), greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling patients, verifying insurance, collection of co-pays. The OM sets the tone of the clinic. This person must be cheerful and welcoming at all times.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Telephone etiquetteComputer usageEmails – check daily and make timely responsesClean front office work area and waiting areaSchedule patientsVerify insuranceMake follow up calls on patients and insurancePre authorizations for PPO, Tricare and workers compCollection of co-pays and co-insuranceWork closely with Billing office (collections list and keep Director apprised of status)Enter PTPN foto intakes, follow ups, dischargesManage front office and clinic supplies inventoriesSupervise front office staff and ensure responsibilities are delegated and followed
throughWork harmoniously with Director and co-workersSet example for the clinic staffStrong work ethicDevelop rapport with fellow Office Managers – share ideasOther duties and tasks, as assigned

 

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent1 year minimum front office experience in a Physical Therapy or Medical office 1 year supervisory experience preferred

 

Qualifications:

Interest in physical therapy or related medical fieldUnderstanding of and ability to perform outstanding customer serviceCheerful, positive, can-do attitudeWillingness to go the extra mileProfessional appearanceAbility to multi-taskAbility to follow directions and use sound judgment while performing dutiesAbility to communicate clearly and with a respectful deliveryAbility to organize time and set priorities appropriatelyAbility to establish rapport and work harmoniously with patients and co-workersWillingness to pitch in to do what it takes
