Care Management Support Assistant

 The Care Management Support Assistant 2 contributes to the administration of care management. Provides non-clinical support to the assessment and evaluation of members' needs and requirements to achieve and/or maintain an optimal wellness state by guiding members/families toward and facilitating interaction with resources appropriate for the care and well-being of members. The Care Management Support Assistant 2 performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments. Performs computations. Typically works on semi-routine assignments.

Works directly with state agencies to monitor members eligibility

Decisions are typically focused on interpretation of area/department policy and methods for completing assignments

Works within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards, but has some latitude over prioritization/timing, and works under minimal direction

Schedule will be Monday-Friday 10:30am-7:00pm EST

Required Qualifications:

This position is remote, but candidate must reside in Florida

Proficient in Word, Outlook, and Excel

2 or more years of administrative support experience

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Ability to manage multiple or competing priorities, including use of multiple computer applications simultaneously

A dedicated home office space, with a locked door, lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information

Preferred Qualifications:

Associate's Degree

Obstetrics experience

Bilingual

Previous call center or related customer service experience

Case Management experience

Work-At-Home Requirements

Must have the ability to provide a high-speed DSL or cable modem for a home office. Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expense.

A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) is required.

Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.


 

$34,500 - $47,400 per year
