THE FLOAT POOL HAS BOTH FULL TIME & PART TIME OPENINGS AS WELL AS 8 HOUR AND 12 HOUR SHIFTS! THIS DEPARTMENT ALLOWS YOU TO EXPERIENCE MANY OF OUR EXCELLENT IN-PATIENT UNITS BY ROTATING WHICH UNIT YOU WORK ON EACH SHIFT! Responsibilities: 

Accountable and responsible for the provision of patient care and comfort under the direct supervision of a registered nurse according to established standards, policies, and procedures of Washington Health System. Accurately reports information to the registered nurse. Assists with clerical responsibilities for assigned patients. Is competent in considering patient population specific age, developmental stages, and unique needs of assigned population. Maintains the strictest confidentiality. Adheres to all established HIPAA rules and regulations. Adheres to all guidelines dealing with the electronic records, charts, completed documents, reports, and other documents associated with established organizational policies to ensure patient/family privacy and security. Understands and respects the needs and expectations of patients and families to provide patient/family centered care. Uses appropriate, courteous, respectful, unbiased verbal and written communication skills when interacting with patients/families, visitors, and other team members.

Schedule: Full time: 36-40/hrs per week OR Part Time 16-32/hrs peer week. Rotating days, weekends, and holidays. Rotating 12-hour shifts: 6:30AM-7PM and 6:30PM-7AM. 8 and 12-hour shifts available.
