The Care Promoter (MA) is an integral member of a Physician-lead Care Team that is focused on providing excellent and comprehensive primary care for a specific panel of patients. This team is available and accountable to their patients and to one another. The Care Promoter (MA) is expected to build strong relationships with their patients and to be a trusted partner of their physician leader. This will allow them to guide their patients through both complex and routine medical and social challenges.

A typical Care Promoter (MA) will have formal medical training.
