Career Choice empowers associates to advance their careers. We do this by building relationships with businesses both internal and external to Amazon to establish hiring partnerships and deeply understand the roles that are in demand. We then identify, select, and manage educational provider partners that can best prepare associates for these roles. For us, success is an associate completing an educational program and then being placed in a job using the skills they learned during the program.
We are looking to hire a highly analytical systems-thinker with good judgment who can drive results by working collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders. This role will focus on managing data from and relationships with hundreds of educational institutions, with a focus on those providing programs that are aligned with employer needs. This goal of this work is to support seamless pathways to new upwardly mobile career fields. Our team takes a data-driven approach to measure success and focus efforts on maximizing outcomes for associates.
You will be responsible for managing relationships and leading regular business reviews with senior stakeholders at postsecondary institutions by navigating and analyzing data to drive improvements in programming and student outcomes. When needed, you will also recruit, select, and onboard new school partners. Your portfolio will include schools in the United States and Canada.
Key job responsibilities
- Manage performance of educational provider partners, including facilitating business reviews and ensuring compliance with data reporting
- Analyze data and drive improvements that are quantified with metrics
- Identify and vet potential educational provider partners and manage program launch, implementation, and delivery
- Organize and collect data to write clear, effective narratives and presentations to communicate progress and outcomes
- Partner with senior program managers and other teams to deliver difficult, cross-functional projects
- Deliver difficult projects aligned with team goals, taking into account the larger picture in making trade-offs and planning effectively
- Identify stakeholder needs and manage program communication
- Seek opportunities to improve system quality and operational excellence
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience in complex problem solving, and working in a tight schedule environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing complex partnerships and leading meetings with senior stakeholders
- Related experience in postsecondary education, vocational education and training, and/or workforce development
- Proficiency with data management and visualization tools (e.g., Quicksight)
- Proficiency in Canadian French
