About these roles: 

Wells Fargo is seeking Capital Market Middle Office Associates for the Chief Operating Office business group in the teams listed below, located in Charlotte, North Carolina. Learn more about the career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com/en/business-divisions. 

In this role, you may:   

Participate in research and resolution of issues including, profit and loss generation, profit and loss attribution and trade capture.

Identify opportunities to resolve complex confirmation and related trade issues.

Review tactical business challenges related to complex derivative products.

Receive direction from manager and exercise independent judgement while developing an understanding of procedures.

Compare trade position files from external counter-parties to resolve timely margin call disputes

Perform trade decompositions to validate current mark-to-market exposures

Review and present collateral margin calls and respond to the demands submitted by our counterparties

Work with internal departments (various Middle Offices, Documentation, Marketers, Legal, Credit) to resolve all discrepancies

Provide information to managers and the Capital Markets Middle Office

Required Qualifications: 

6+ months of Capital Markets industry experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications: 

COO Transactions & Processing team is seeking (2) Capital Markets Middle Office Associates with the following skills:

Experience in the financial services industry

Experience with operational and client account onboarding

Experience with Agile Methodology

Experience with Project Management

Familiarity or understanding of financial markets (stock, foreign exchange)

Familiarity or understanding of Information Security and/or User Access

Familiarity or understanding of derivative products and with drafting OTC Confirmation experience

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Effective organizational, multi tasking, and prioritizing skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment

Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

Proficient Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills

COO Transactions & Processing team is seeking a Capital Market Middle Associate with the following skills:

Strong client services skills

Experience in the financial services industry

Understanding of Calypso, Imagine/Mercury, Opics, Endur, CDBO and other mainframe trading systems

Self-starter and aggressive work ethic with self-discipline follow up skills

Tableau and SQL

Familiarity with Interest Rate Swaps, Swaptions, Floors, Caps, Commodities Cross-currency, FX, Equity, mechanics and payment reset schedules is a plus

Familiarity with interpreting executed International Swaps and Derivatives Association Master Agreements (ISDA) and Credit Support Annex (CSA), MSFTA and GMRA documents is a plus

Job Expectations:  

Initial onboarding requirement is 5 days in office.

Must be able to work a hybrid schedule (in office a minimum of 3 days per week).

Flexibility with schedule based on work demands.

This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship

Pay

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$28.85 - $41.11
