Career Experiences - Milestones Programs Events Enablement Consultant - Global Delivery Service

Career Experiences is a pillar within our Talent Team focused on enhancing our employee experience so our professionals feel they work at a firm who is committed to providing them a space to Shape Their Careers with Confidence.  Our pillar is focused on Employee Listening and Workforce Insights, EY Careers and My Career Hub, Strategic Mobility including global, local and between service lines and subservice lines, EY Center for Careers where our people can go to explore career options both internally and externally and Milestones with a focus of creating moments that matter around key milestones in their careers.  The Talent Milestones Enablement Consultant will report to the Talent Milestones Leader and will work closely with the Talent Milestones Event Project Managers and other functional area leaders in assisting with programs established to support Milestones events throughout the US. This role will require collaboration and coordination with functional areas such as our internal Learning and Development and Finance functions as well as external vendors.

 

The opportunity

 

The Talent Milestones Enablement Consultant will provide operational support around all of the key events the Milestones Team takes on.  This role will play a critical role in the coordination, project management, communication and budget analysis that support the above areas to improve organizational and employee effectiveness and help our team develop successful Milestone Events. This role serves in the capacity of superior individual contributor but will also engage, organize and deploy support leading up to the events in scope.   

 

The Talent Milestone programs in scope for this role, include Discover EY (US Intern); 7-8 Futures regional events (US Summer Intern); 3 Horizons programs (Americas SM/AD, M/AD, MDD); 3 Direct Admit Partner (Americas DAPs); Future Leaders Summit (CPA-track Interns); National Launch Training (US Summer Interns) and 2 Unplugged Programs (Rising Senior, Rising Manager).

 

Your key responsibilities

Serves as coordinator and assists with project manager in the areas specified above working closely with Talent Milestones Program Event Project Managers. Provides assistance with research around knowledge and services that are at the leading edge of thinking (internally and externally) in areas of specialty Collaborates with Travel, Meetings & Events Team across all programs to ensure efficient and effective planning and use of budget. Supports the design and development of specific organizational and people effectiveness programs Develops and maintains calendar of events to include events in Milestone Program Event scope, as well as broader firmwide programs/events to ensure appropriate engagement of firm leadership (including USMC) and broad awareness of events Leverages knowledge on internal firm processes and protocols including but not limited to SCORE, BRIDGE and data/analytic tools Liaises with broader Talent community (STC/TCs, BMC, Learning, Visa & Immigration, etc.) to ensure all event hosts/participants in good standing with firm and supported with visa/travel process (when necessary) Manages engagement of EY vendors required to support events (American Express Travel, Cvent, Spotme, etc.) Develops on-site support model to thoughtfully engage broader talent community, including training and execution of event to ensure exceptional participant experience Supports change management plans and communications for related efforts Manages budget for regular updates to Talent leadership Supports evaluation of the effectiveness of programs (e.g., participant surveys, focus group engagement)

Ability to navigate, utilize and leverage various internal resources Ability to identify, align and improve operational processes across the business Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage competing deadlines Advanced proficiency in data analysis, which includes data collection and providing recommendations Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Visio and data visualization tools such as Power BI Ability to navigate systems, such as applicant tracking systems, Mercury and SharePoint Strong attention to detail Strong written and verbal communication skills Adaptability and agility to navigate ever-changing programs and potential issues that arise Ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner

 

To qualify for this role, you must have

Three plus years of related experience  Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent work experience

 

Ideally, you'll also have

Two-plus years of experience preferably within talent, finance, recruiting or resource management Experience working in professional services Flexibility to adapt to changing business situations Strong reporting and analytical skills Aptitude for learning new technologies extemporaneously
