Career Field Management Subject Matter Expert

KBR is seeking a seeking a Career Field Management Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the US Space Force Enterprise Talent Management Office in San Antonio, TX on Joint Base San Antonio (Randolph).

A strong candidate has in-depth knowledge of Service-level selection boards and career field management processes. In this position, you will:

Key Responsibilities:

Support selection board processes (i.e., promotion), to include providing pre- and post-board support.Conduct in-depth, specialized analysis on officer and enlisted promotionsProvide recommendations to develop Space professional education, training and experience.Perform in-depth research, gather facts, and use analytical and evaluative methods to accurately assess talent.Review personnel assigned to Space professional billets, list discrepancies and provide recommendations.Interact with Career Field Managers (CFMs) to develop cross-functional space expertise.Respond to requests from Functional Managers, Development Team Chairs, and/or CFMs.Identify/track Space professional billets and people, update credentials and identify/verify positions.Plan, coordinate and prepare materials to support Guardian-related professional development forums.Travel may be required for limited durations to support Customer events.

Qualifications:

Required:

An active Secret clearance is required, which is something only a U.S. citizen can obtain.3+ years working Service-level personnel programs related to the job responsibilities.Experience with providing Headquarters-level advice, technical guidance, analysis and recommendations.Ability to multi-task and produce high-quality products in a high-tempo, collaborative environment.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Word, Excel).Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Desired:

Familiarity with eBOSS and myVector.Understanding of pivot tables, Excel spreadsheets, and visualization tools.BA/BS degree (5+ years of relevant experience may substitute).Headquarters experience in the US Space Force, US Air Force, or equivalentExperience with US Space Force missions.Accustomed to professionally working with internal / external senior leaders, offices, directorates, and action officers.
