Career Marketing Leader, Mercer

We are seeking a talented individual to join our global Marketing & Communications team supporting the Mercer Career business. This role will be based in New York City. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

As the Career Marketing Leader you will enhance the commercial impact of our Mercer Career Practice and ensure our rewards, talent, data analytics and HR transformation solutions are competitively positioned to meet evolving client needs, aligning with global business strategies and regional priorities. Reporting to the Mercer CMO/Marsh McLennan International Marketing & Communications Leader, you will have strong alignment with the Career Practice and Commercial/Sales leadership teams.

We will count on you to:

Possess strong business acumen and the ability to influence at a senior level, collaborating effectively across a complex organization.

Lead a dedicated global team, demonstrating proven leadership, operational excellence, and a results-oriented mindset.

Act as a strategic advisor to ensure Marketing and Career Practice priorities aligned.

Create content, thought leadership, and influencer strategy that positions Mercer competitively to meet client needs.

Develop an 'always-on' multi-channel marketing campaign program to drive awareness and sales for our consulting and product solutions.

Lead and empower a collaborative marketing team, fostering a high-performing culture.

Define objectives and KPIs, monitor progress, and communicate results, maintaining a focus on best practices, emerging priorities, and business value.

What you need to have:

A minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in leading and executing multi-channel, multi-segment marketing, preferably in the Career industry.

Advanced knowledge of traditional and digital marketing techniques, including MarTech, outbound automation systems, and inbound strategies in paid/organic SEO, SEM, and Social.

Strong business acumen with an understanding of industry trends, business strategy, and competitor propositions, enabling the use of marketing insights to drive transformation and impact.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership and build trusted relationships to achieve shared commercial goals.

High learning agility, balancing openness to new ideas with proactive action in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment, demonstrating a proven ability to do more with less.

Be highly organized and capable of managing multiple projects and competing priorities without sacrificing accuracy or efficiency.

A proven ability to inspire and build high-performing teams and inclusive cultures.

A data-driven mindset to improve marketing performance and drive stronger commercial outcomes.

University degree.

What makes you stand out:

A track record in executing programs that drive growth and enhance client experience.

Client and sales experience, along with knowledge of mergers and acquisitions.

E-commerce product marketing experience, including marketing strategy and campaign experience in commercializing workforce data/product solutions to B2B and B2B2C.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership and build trusted relationships to achieve shared commercial goals.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $184,100 to $368,200.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
