The Live Scan background check must be completed. * TB Test: Current copy of TB results within the last year (and annually thereafter). * Experience: At least 2 years of experience working with seniors in a home care setting is preferred; however, we are willing to train the right candidate with at least 6 months of relevant experience. * Knowledge: Must be willing to learn about chronic conditions, or have experience/expertise in dementia or Alzheimer's-related diseases. * Transportation: A valid driver's license and car insurance are required, as transportation services are part of the job. * Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. * Background Check: Ability to pass a criminal background check and become active on the California Home Care Registry. * References: At least four professional references who can speak to your experience as a caregiver, along with two personal references.
