We are immediately seeking a caregiver for a 97-year-old woman in Glenshaw.  She needs someone from 7:00am- 7:00pm.

RESPONSIBILITIES of the Caregiver/Home Health Aide (HHA):

Provide client with hygiene care as directed including, but not limited to: bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, undressing, toileting activities, feeding, meal preparation, linen changes, light housekeeping. Assist client in walking and transportation to doctor appointments, outdoor activities, shopping. Develop and promote a safe environment for quality client care through adherence to established policies, procedures, and standards. Ensure client’s rights.

REQUIREMENTS of the Caregiver/Home Health Aide (HHA):

Treats clients, staff and the public with courtesy, respect and presents a positive public image Empathy for the needs of the clients Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision Reliable and insured transportation Highschool diploma or equivalent
