Responsibilities
While no two days are exactly the same, here are some things you will be responsible for:
+ Performing personal care tasks, including feeding, ambulation, and medical monitoring
+ Assist with fostering positive relationships between individuals served and their housemates
+ Ensuring client safety and maintaining a safe environment
+ Encouraging self-help activities
+ Accompanying clients to scheduled appointments
Qualifications
+ Must be 18 years of age or older
+ Must have a valid driver’s license
+ Ability to work in a group home, home-like setting
+ Ability to communicate (verbally and written) with all levels of personnel, internal and external

Additional Job Information
SPECIAL NOTE : What sets us apart at ResCare Community Living is that we offer paid CNA training with class time ranging 4-6 weeks for our DSP’s working at our Casa De Vida location, which should result in a CNA license upon successful completion of a written test, skills test and any additional state licensing requirements. This would be an amazing opportunity for someone new to the field, or someone who is interested in a pre-nursing, pre-health, or pre-med program, as being a CNA is an excellent way to get experience and patient contact hours necessary to satisfy prerequisites for these programs!
Salary Range
USD $17.00 - $18.00 / Hour
