The Caregiver, or Resident Assistant (RA) provides a variety of services to maintain and support activities of daily living for our residents under the supervision of a Nurse. The RA is responsible for providing strong customer service, utilizing courtesy, dignity, and respect in all of the following responsibilities:\n

Responsibilities:\n\nProvides personal care services including: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, transferring, and other care as designated\nAssist residents in dining\nProvides homemaking tasks\nResponds to and reports changes in resident's health status and\/or any recommendations for changes that should be made to the resident plan of care \nCompletes thorough daily charting\nCollaborates with other team members within the community to deliver The Waters Way\nOther duties as assigned\n\n

Qualifications:\n\nHigh-school diploma or equivalent preferred\nOne year nursing\/resident assistant care experience in senior services preferred \nAbility to read, write, speak and follow verbal directions in English \nBasic computer skills with experience or ability to learn electronic health record systems\nPossess compassion for and commitment to hospitality, service, and excellence in senior care \nAbility to work independently as well as part of a team\nAbility to be flexible with hours'\/shift schedules and assignments\n\n
