Visiting Angels is a locally owned and operated home care franchise dedicated to providing essential care so that seniors are able to age gracefully in the place they call home.

At Home Senior Caregiver Responsibilities:

Provides personal care to the clientProvides walking assistance to the clientProvides continuous companionship for the client while on dutyAssists in meal planning, food purchasing, and food preparationWashes dishes and cleans the kitchen after mealsAssists the client to live in a clean, healthy, and safe environmentObserves the client's general physical, emotional, and mental conditions, and reports all changes in conditionKeeps appropriate records of all activity while in the client’s homeProvides a sense of security for the client and protects the client as much as possible from any harm resulting from the debilitating effects of his or her illnessAssists client as needed, excluding medical careCommunicates availability to work with the Scheduler on a weekly basis or as required

Job Requirements:

Minimum of one year of caregiving experience preferred but not requiredMust have a strong sense of professionalism and must be reliableValid Driver's License REQUIREDMust have personal, reliable transportation to and from shiftsMust be 18 years of age or olderSelf-directed and able to work with minimal supervisionMust comply with all agency policiesDementia/Alzheimer's experience a plusMust be willing to get the COVID vaccine or already be vaccinated (State requirement)
