**Job Title: Carpenter's Helper** **Job Description** We are looking to hire experienced carpenter helpers for an opportunity located in Long Island City and Brooklyn (DUMBO). The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of commercial construction experience and be proficient in various carpentry tasks. **Responsibilities** + Assist in metal and wood framing + Install acoustical ceilings + Utilize basic hand and power tools + Perform tasks related to sheet rocking, finish carpentry, drywall, and rough carpentry + Work on commercial construction projects + Use a tape measure accurately + Travel across the 5 boroughs for other projects as needed **Essential Skills** + At least 1 year of commercial construction experience + OHSA 30 & SST Card + Experience with metal and wood framing + Experience with installation + Experience with acoustical ceilings + Proficiency with basic hand and power tools **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + No drug or check required + Must be open to traveling across the 5 boroughs for other projects **Why Work Here?** We are a large construction company with over 100 men in the field, constantly busy with multiple projects to work on.
