SUMMARY:
It is the responsibility of the Carpenter is to build and repair carpentry related items throughout the property. This position must also exhibit a high level of professional and personalized guest service that embodies the Company’s brand standard and core values (K.E.E.P. – Kindness, Engagement, Empathy and Positivity).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Must have five years Carpentry Shop experience. Maintenance carpentry, cabinetry, furniture, build and repair. Create shop drawings, general hotel room repair and maintenance. Hang artwork, hang signage, finish carpentry, brass, plastics, laminate, commercial door hardware, moldings, adhesives.Must be able to operate hand tools, and any related carpentry equipment. Must provide all hand tools necessary.Miscellaneous carpentry repair throughout the property.Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested. Work overtime weekends and holidays.Assist other trades when necessary.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent5 years Journeyman Carpentry experienceMinimum age requirement is 21
