Staff Management | SMX has an immediate opening for a Carpenter Handyman in Asheboro, NC. We are looking for a hardworking, dedicated applicant to assist with long term projects going on in a manufacturing setting. For this role, you must have experience using basic hand tools and a tape measure. This could have an opportunity to turn in to a Full-Time position with our client for candidates with right work ethic and knowledge.

Shift Information:

1st Shift: 7:00am to 3:00 pm, with occasional overtime

As a Carpenter Handyman you will:

Assist with projects around the plant that involve painting, trim and baseboard, laying carpet, tile, and wood flooring. Dry wall is a plus.Operate multiple types of hand tools. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.Follow safety procedures and protocols in all work performed.

We need employees who can work on projects in a manufacturing setting, have the ability to operate multiple types of hand tools and work with little supervision and must work safely and follow all safety protocols.

Associate Requirements Background Check Able to Lift 50 pounds Drug Test Stand for Shift Duration Must be at least 18 years old The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $19.00 - $20.00 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law.
