We are a member of the nationwide Trinity Health family, bringing compassionate care to our communities. **Position Purpose** **:** Performs a variety of duties in and around the buildings of the hospital complex; specifically, the construction, renovation and repair of hospital facilities in order to upgrade the image of the Hospital. **What you will do:** + Performs in renovation and construction of hospital spaces. + Fabricates and repairs office furniture and carpentry items. + Contributes to the safe operation of the plant and engineering department. + Contributes to the efficient operation of the department + Contributes to the effective operations of the Hospital by demonstrating dependability in job performance **Minimum Qualifications** **:** + **Education:** Four year apprenticeship program or equivalent. + **Experience:** Two years experience. + **Licensure:** None. **Physical and Mental Effort:** + Precautions must be taken around shop machinery. Environment may be dusty, hot and/or cold. Employee may frequently be exposed to dust; bodily injuries and loud noises. + Physical effort is required. Some heavy lifting involved. Work positions include standing, kneeling and climbing. Must adhere to safety guidelines and take appropriate precautions.
