Position Purpose:
Performs a variety of duties in and around the buildings of the hospital complex; specifically, the construction, renovation and repair of hospital facilities in order to upgrade the image of the Hospital.

Performs in renovation and construction of hospital spaces.Fabricates and repairs office furniture and carpentry items.Contributes to the safe operation of the plant and engineering department.Contributes to the efficient operation of the departmentContributes to the effective operations of the Hospital by demonstrating dependability in job performanceMinimum Qualifications:
Education: Four year apprenticeship program or equivalent.Experience: Two years experience.Licensure: None.Physical and Mental Effort:
Precautions must be taken around shop machinery. Environment may be dusty, hot and/or cold. Employee may frequently be exposed to dust; bodily injuries and loud noises.Physical effort is required. Some heavy lifting involved. Work positions include standing, kneeling and climbing. Must adhere to safety guidelines and take appropriate precautions. Stress factor is negligible.Position requires ability to frequently push/pull/lift objects more than 100 lbs., perform difficult manipulative, gross body and hand-eye coordination skills; walk, bend, stand and sit for prolonged periods; see objects closely and hear normal sounds with some background noises.Position Highlights and Benefits
