Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Restoration Carpenter to join our team in Middletown, PA. The ideal candidate will have strong expereince in carpentry, with a focus on restoration and repair of residential and commercial properties. This role requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

Perform carpentry work related to the restoration and repair of damaged properties.Assess and repair structural damage caused by fire, water, storm, and other disasters.Restore historical buildings and structures, ensuring preservation of original features.Install and repair framing, trim, cabinetry, and other woodwork.Read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications.Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.Collaborate with project managers, other trades, and clients to ensure project success.Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a carpenter, with a focus on restoration work.Knowledge of historical restoration techniques and materials.Proficiency in using hand and power tools.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.Certifications such as OSHA, EPA Lead-Safe, or other relevant credentials are a plus.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00
