**Job Title: Carpenter**
**Job Description**
Utilizing shop drawings from our internal Engineering team, our carpenters create an array of complex precast panels. In this position, you will find yourself building a wide variety of forms on a daily basis. Our carpenters are a vital key to our production process and take great pride in their work.
**Responsibilities**
+ Utilize approved piece tickets to construct forms for specific precast concrete panels in conformance with the architectural specifications and applicable PCI requirements.
+ Meet regularly with the carpenter foreman to discuss anticipated production sequences and potential form construction problems, and to provide input on improvement of work processes and workflow.
+ Provide information to the carpenter foreman on the inventory status of all form-related material so that supplies and materials can be ordered in a timely fashion to ensure performance of scheduled work.
+ Properly maintain tools and utilize appropriate safety guards.
+ Manage carpentry workload for self.
+ Come to work regularly and on time, in accordance with company policy.
+ Function as a team player.
+ Maintain plant safety in accordance with Company Safety Manual and under the direction of Plant Safety Coordinator.
**Essential Skills**
+ Framing
+ Carpentry

+ Finish carpentry
+ Rough carpentry
+ 3+ years of carpentry experience
+ 3+ years of finish carpentry experience
+ 3+ years of rough carpentry experience
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Minimum of three years of recent general carpentry experience
+ Minimum of two years working with finish carpentry products such as cabinetry and other forms of woodworking
+ Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures/specifications
+ Ability to read and understand construction drawings and piece tickets
**Work Environment**
Working in an enclosed environment, it is totally indoors but can be cold in the winter and hot in the summers. You will be working with a team of 5-8 other people building the forms. The carpenter foreman oversees the carpenters, and there is an overall plant supervisor. Required attire includes steel-toed boots, hard-hat, high-vis shirt, and long work pants. Work hours are Monday - Friday, 6 AM - 5 PM, with potential for up to 10 hours of overtime a week.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, Nebraska.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00
