Job Description
We are seeking a skilled carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform various tasks including tearing out and replacing drywall, using hand and power tools, painting interiors and exteriors, replacing flooring, and documenting completed tasks. This role involves working in a shop environment, ensuring trailers are maintained and ready for deployment to construction sites.
ResponsibilitiesTear out drywall and replace it with new material based on job site requirements.Utilize basic hand and power tools efficiently.Operate a spray gun to paint the interior and exterior of trailers.Remove and replace flooring with laminate or tile as needed.Document completed tasks using a paper method system.Operate a forklift to move or lift items around the yard if the operator is unavailable.Clean windows, blinds, doors, floors, and walls as necessary.Essential SkillsExperience in HVAC, plumbing, maintenance, repair, electrical, framing, and construction.Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.General shop helper experience.Additional Skills & Qualifications\"Handy Man\" skills or maintenance experience in apartment complexes.Mechanically inclined individual.Coachable and takes pride in their work.Willingness to get hands dirty.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work in a smaller shop environment with 15 technicians, where units are repaired and sent back out to construction sites. The standard shift is Monday to Friday from 7am to 3:30pm, with potential for overtime during the Spring and Summer due to increased workload.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00
