**Job Title: Sheet Metal Foreman** **Job Description** We are seeking a Sheet Metal Foreman to supervise and coordinate activities of craft personnel engaged in the fabrication, installation, and repair of sheet metal products, systems, and structures. Our company handles all aspects of commercial and industrial construction, including new construction, renovations, and remodels. **Responsibilities** + Supervise and coordinate the work of skilled roofers and trades helpers in covering roofs with roofing materials, and oversee the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems. + Review and evaluate the progress of roofing shop roofers and trades helpers, and oversee related administrative functions such as hiring and writing annual performance evaluations. + Inspect re-roofing and related roofing work in progress and upon completion to ensure conformance to specifications; perform infrared and thermal inspections of roofing systems to detect water infiltration. + Evaluate and determine material needs for various projects and order materials accordingly. + Maintain maintenance and roof system warranty logs, and meet with bonding company representatives regarding roofs under warranty. + Communicate daily with the General Manager on current and upcoming projects. + Perform related duties as required. **Essential Skills** + 2-5 years of experience in field - flats and metal work + Experience overseeing others in commercial or residential industries + Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and measuring tools + Ability to work independently and follow directions + Reliability and good attendance record **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to perform infrared and thermal inspections of roofing systems + Experience in performing administrative functions related to roofing work + Capability to evaluate project requirements and order necessary materials **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic team in a company that values work-life balance and provides opportunities for growth and advancement. Normal shifts are Monday to Friday, 7am-4pm, with hours varying based on project needs. Winter months typically offer 36-40 hours per week, while spring through fall can range from 40-50 hours or more. Projects are mainly in Dane County, with occasional travel up to 50 miles from Madison. Travel and per diems may be available for specific jobs. Crew sizes vary between 2-10 people depending on the project. Ability to meet at the shop each morning or go directly to the jobsite, with the option to ride along in a company truck if meeting at the shop. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Green Bay, Wisconsin. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
