**Carpenter: $20-$25 per hour!**
**Job Description**
This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. The Carpenter will assist in various stages of form building, perform basic carpentry tasks, and contribute to maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Assist carpenters in performing all activities related to fabrication and setup of forms for all precast concrete products fabricated in the plant.
+ Perform miscellaneous carpentry work as directed by management.
+ Meet regularly with carpenters to discuss production sequences, address potential form construction problems, and provide input on improving work processes and workflow.
+ Properly maintain tools and utilize appropriate safety guards.
+ Assist in measuring, cutting, shaping, and assembling wood or other construction materials according to specifications.
+ Carry out general labor duties such as lifting heavy materials, moving equipment, and cleaning the work area.
+ Operate power tools and equipment under the guidance of a carpenter, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols.
+ Assist in repairing and building forms.
**Skills & Qualifications**
+ Carpentry skills.
+ Basic carpentry knowledge.
+ Experience with finish carpentry.
+ Proficiency with hand and power tools.
+ Ability to read a tape measure.
+ Experience in commercial construction.
+ Good job tenure (stays at positions for longer than 1 year at a time).

**Work Environment**
Work in an enclosed environment that is indoors but can be cold in the winter and hot in the summer. You will be part of a team of 5-8 people building forms. The work schedule is Monday - Friday from 6 AM to 5 PM, with the potential for up to 10 hours of overtime a week. Proper attire includes steel-toed boots, a hard hat, a high-visibility shirt, and long work pants.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00
