Job Description

We are seeking skilled carpenters to join our team. Our company is based out of Harrisburg and typically completes work within a 1.5-hour radius from Harrisburg. We specialize in installing custom windows, and our projects include schools, store fronts, office buildings, industrial facilities, and apartment buildings. Candidates will meet at the shop and then head to job sites. Occasional overnight work is required, with compensation provided.

ResponsibilitiesInstall windows in various types of buildings, including schools, store fronts, office buildings, industrial facilities, and apartment buildings.Read and interpret blueprints.Utilize hand and power tools for window installation.Perform rough and finished carpentry work.Engage in framing tasks using wood or metal.Essential Skills5+ years of carpentry or glazing experience preferred.Experience with framing, either wood or metal.Proficiency in both residential and commercial carpentry.Ability to perform rough carpentry and finishing work.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with glazing.Capability to use hand tools and power tools.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Our team operates Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. We are a family-owned company with a current field team of 12, and we plan to expand significantly in the coming years. Pay rates vary based on experience, with glazing experience up to $28 per hour and carpentry between $20-25 per hour. The work environment is dynamic, focusing on quality craftsmanship and team collaboration.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
