**Job Title: Carpenter** **Job Description** Utilizing shop drawings from our internal Engineering team, our carpenters create an array of complex precast panels. In this position, you will find yourself building a wide variety of forms on a daily basis. Our carpenters are a vital key to our production process and take great pride in their work. **Responsibilities** + Utilize approved piece tickets to construct forms for specific precast concrete panels in conformance with the architectural specifications and applicable PCI requirements. + Meet regularly with supervisors to discuss anticipated production sequences and potential form construction problems, and to provide input on the improvement of work processes and workflow. + Provide information to supervisors on the inventory status of all form-related material so that supplies and materials can be ordered in a timely fashion to ensure performance of scheduled work. + Properly maintain tools and utilize appropriate safety guards. + Manage carpentry workload independently. + Attend work regularly and on time, in accordance with company policy. + Function as a team player. + Maintain plant safety in accordance with Company Safety Manual and under the direction of Plant Safety Coordinator. **Essential Skills** + Framing + Carpentry + Construction + Finish carpentry + Rough carpentry + Minimum of three years of recent general carpentry experience + Minimum of two years working with finish carpentry products such as cabinetry and other forms of woodworking **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Good job tenure (not jumping jobs every year) + Experience with hand tools, blueprints, and power tools **Why Work Here?** Enjoy profit sharing once brought on full time, a $1500 hiring bonus paid out at the 30, 60, and 90-day marks, and leadership opportunities as many in leadership are expected to retire in the next five years. Collaborate with a team of 5-8 other people building forms. Steel-toed boots, hard hats, high visibility shirts, and long work pants are required. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 6 AM - 5 PM, with the potential for up to 10 hours of overtime a week. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr.
