**Job Title: Carpenter** **Job Description** We are looking for a meticulous and driven Carpenter to join our team. The project involves performing improvements to the Rocky Mountain National Park (RMNP) Ranger Station and Kiosk. The work will include some wood framing but primarily focuses on finish carpentry tasks such as hanging cabinets, installing bath accessories and door hardware, and finishing baseboard trim. **Responsibilities** + Perform wood (timber) framing and finish carpentry tasks. + Hang cabinets, bath accessories, and door hardware. + Install and finish baseboard trim and exterior trim. + Work on final details of siding and other finish work. + Read and interpret blueprints accurately to ensure quality workmanship. + Utilize hand tools and power tools for various carpentry tasks. **Essential Skills** + Experience with timber framing, wood framing, and finish carpentry. + Proficiency in hanging cabinets, installing door hardware, and bathroom fixtures. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately. + 10 years of experience as a finish carpenter. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Meticulous attention to detail. + Driven and motivated to produce high-quality work. + Capability to work independently and follow plans precisely. **Why Work Here?** This role offers 2-3 months of work in the stunning Rocky Mountain National Park, with the potential for long-term opportunities for candidates who demonstrate hard work, reliability, and leadership qualities. The aim is for 40 hours per week, though this may vary slightly due to weather conditions. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Estes Park, Colorado **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
