**Job Title: Carpenter** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Carpenter who will be responsible for providing operational support in reconstruction efforts for our customers. Duties include light framing, trim work, drywall hanging and finishing, hanging cabinets, and painting. The ideal candidate must be willing to take instruction and feedback in the moment and follow directions. This is a very demanding schedule, and candidates must understand and embrace the reactive nature of our business. **Responsibilities** + Provide operational support in reconstruction efforts for customers. + Perform light framing, trim work, drywall hanging and finishing, hanging cabinets, and painting. + Take instruction and feedback in the moment and follow directions. + Respond to emergency projects as required, being on call once every 5 weeks. **Essential Skills** + Carpentry + Framing + Drywall hanging + Labor + Construction + Finish carpentry + Drywall + Commercial construction + Rough carpentry + General labor **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to work hard and willingness to learn the restoration business. + Computer skills + Restoration and demolition experience + Proficiency with hand tools and tape measure + Strong sense of urgency, professional demeanor, positive attitude, and strong work ethic. + Frequent lifting in excess of 50 lbs. + Sustained periods of standing, walking, bending, and kneeling. + Access and mobility in tight spaces. + Satisfactory completion of OSHA Construction 10-hour course or ability to obtain one. + Attention to detail and safeguarding other people’s property. + Familiarity with chemical products including use, disposal, and Material Safety Data Sheets. + Willingness to work nights and weekends as needed. + Strong reading, writing, and communication skills. + Excellent customer service skills. + Documentation skills. + Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
