**Job Title: Carpenter** **Job Description** We are seeking experienced Finish Carpenters with foreman experience. The main goal is to find candidates with at least 5 years of commercial carpentry experience. This role is ideal for those with a experience in renovating restaurants, office buildings, medical buildings, warehouses, and schools. The candidate should be looking for a long-term opportunity to grow with a company that values innovation and experience. Willingness to travel out of state for projects is necessary. **Responsibilities** + Perform commercial carpentry tasks with at least 5 years of experience. + Install metal hollow doors and frames. + Install doors/windows hardware. + Hang and finish drywall. + Work on finish carpentry and rough carpentry projects. **Essential Skills** + 5+ years of commercial carpentry experience. + Experience with metal hollow door installations. + Proficient in metal hollow door frame installations. + Skilled in doors/windows hardware installations. + Experience in hanging and finishing drywall. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with installation, carpentry, trim work, and the use of a tape measure. + Ability to work with power tools and read blueprints. + Experience in commercial construction, including framing, drywall, and concrete work. **Why Work Here?** This is a contract-to-hire position with a well-known general contractor that offers great benefits and consistent growth. Projects include healthcare, restaurant, retail, and commercial buildings. Basic hand tools and company-supplied power tools will be used to complete commercial carpentry projects. Some projects require travel within a 2-3 hour radius of York, PA, with a $35/day per diem for overnight stays. Working hours are from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, Pennsylvania. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
