**Job Title: Carpenter** **Job Description** As a rough carpenter, you will be responsible for framing and general labor duties on a commercial construction project. You will be required to use various hand tools daily, including power drills, tape measures, hand saws, nail guns, and reciprocating saws to cut materials before framing. This role will be based at the Fox Valley Hematology facility in New London. **Responsibilities** + Perform rough carpentry tasks including framing and general labor. + Utilize hand tools and power tools such as power drills, tape measures, hand saws, nail guns, and reciprocating saws. + Cut materials accurately before framing. + Assist in other general labor duties as needed on the construction site. **Essential Skills** + At least 6 months of experience in framing new construction. + At least 6 months of experience using power tools (e.g., power drills, reciprocating saws, nail guns). + At least 6 months of demolition work on a construction site. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 6+ months of concrete experience (helping with pouring sidewalks is a plus). + Experience in finish carpentry is highly desirable. + Prior experience in demolition work is beneficial. + Experience in welding or steel stud framing is advantageous. + Experience in landscaping or farm work is a plus due to the physical nature of the job. **Why Work Here?** Once hired, you will receive additional benefits, including becoming an owner/operator in the ESOP program. Employees often meet at the shop and travel with the crew if the job is far from home. You will work in a 5-6 person crew for each skill set (rough and finish), reporting to a Site Manager. The work environment can be loud due to the use of power tools, and all projects are commercial new builds or occasional remodels. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oneida, Wisconsin. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
