Job Title: Carpentry Foreman

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Foreman to lead a team of carpenters on new construction projects in mid-rise to high-rise residential buildings. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in drywall, previous experience as a carpenter, and the ability to manage a large crew.

ResponsibilitiesDirect, supervise, and ensure the completion of work by all carpenters on the team.Understand and advise the team on all aspects of drywall installation.Manage and drive the schedule of new construction work in mid-rise and high-rise residential projects.Order materials and list supplies needed for projects.Read and interpret blueprints to guide construction work.Essential SkillsOSHA 30 certification.Site Safety Training (SST).Extensive experience with drywall, including work at a previous drywall company.Experience leading a carpenter crew of up to or over 60 people.Extreme Knowledge as a carpenter by trade.Experience with new construction in mid-rise to high-rise residential buildings.Ability to use tools such as Snips, Sheetrock Saw, Small Triangle Square, Chalk Line, Tape Measure of 25 feet, and Screwdriver(s).Additional Skills & QualificationsProficient in reading blueprints.Skilled in framing, taping, trim, and molding.Experience with commercial construction and finish carpentry.Ability to use hand and power tools effectively.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment includes multiple new construction project sites across Queens, Manhattan, and Brooklyn. You will work with various types of carpenters who focus on different specialties, such as taping, drywall, and tiling.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00
