**Job Title: Carpenter Foreman** **Job Description** We are seeking a responsible, reliable, and experienced carpenter to lead in installing one of our four product lines: Kitchens, Basements, Bathrooms, and Decking. The ideal candidate will have great attention to detail and be efficient in their work. **Responsibilities** + Perform finish and trim carpentry + Conduct framing labor + Operate tools and follow directions + Execute casing, trim work, and window jamb extensions + Perform rough and finish carpentry and general tasks as required by the superintendent **Essential Skills** + 4+ years of carpentry experience + Experience in construction, general labor, framing, trim work, blueprint reading, concrete, and finish work + Excellent attention to detail + Reliable transportation **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 2+ years of remodeling experience + Framing experience (preferred) + An enthusiastic attitude + A desire to join a growing team **Why Work Here?** Enjoy full-time, year-round work with opportunities for rapid growth within the company. Projects may be outside in the elements for new constructions or indoors for service and finish trim projects. You will be part of a smaller, close-knit team environment. The shop is based out of Ames, but projects are located across the Ames area, including Huxley, Ankeny, and Bondurant. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Ames, Iowa. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00/hr.
