**Overview** ***** This position is contingent upon contract award ***** SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking a Carpenter to provide support for a Facilities and Life Support Contract performed at an overseas location. **Essential Job Duties** + Must have knowledge of preventative maintenance programs. + Possess practical knowledge of repairs, installation of floor and ceiling tile, walls (plaster, block, drywall), masonry work, locksmithing, cabinet making, framing, form work and general knowledge of the painting trade. + Must be able to operate small power tools and machinery as required. + Must read blueprints and perform material take-offs from prints. + Must possess leadership skills. + Must possess the skills and attitudes to effectively communicate with the customer and subordinates. **Minimum Requirements** + Active in scope Secret clearance. + High school graduate or GED equivalent. + Completion of a recognized apprenticeship or vocational program for a journeyman carpenter with eight (8) years of experience in trade and building maintenance. + Two (2) years of supervisory experience. **Work Environment** + Must reside at an overseas location. + A willingness to work rotational shift if necessary, including days, evenings, and nights as well as overtime, weekends, and holidays as required. + Long hours, exposure to harsh weather and other hazardous conditions. + Wear of location appropriate PPE and clothing when in the field is required. **Working at SOSi** All interested individuals will receive consideration and will not be discriminated against for any reason.
