Amazon Global Selling:
The Global Selling team in China, Korea, and SE Asia is responsible for recruiting local/regional businesses to sell on Amazon’s global marketplaces, and supporting local sellers’ success and growth on the Amazon platform.
This role will drive close collaboration with many Amazon’s global teams to support the high-growth global selling business, continuously identify new opportunities, and drive new initiatives through design, development, launch and post-launch management.
We are seeking a talented, driven, and proven leader to support Global Sales team in Asia, with stakeholder teams worldwide across various functions. She/He will be a key person to drive new services and products to address Asia based global seller’s growth and success at amazon platform, leveraging global resources.
The candidate will need to possess excellent communications skills, with extensive experience in product management. She/he will be extremely customer obsessed, and detail-oriented, with excellent business acumen and product sense, thus be able to deliver great services and products accelerating seller success in Amazon. The ideal candidate should be able to work in a cross functional, fast-paced environment; has strong product management skills, communication skills, and innovative. Key Responsibilities:
- Identify business opportunities and qualified logistic carrier partners, build partner relationship and manage partner performance.
- Understand and always stay updated, be the first to know about the Market changes pertain Carriers of the the assigned lane and overall cross border eCommerce space.
- Clearly define and communicate business requirements and drive Carriers to adapt to the required change on time.
- Be able to gain support from internal stakeholders, and communicate, drive Carrier side feedback on the program and product
- Establish strong relationship and trust with Amazon local and global stakeholders, especially for the fast growing emerging marketplaces assigned
- Participate in the xBR of the assigned supporting store and be able to contribute from the Carrier and product perspective to support the business growth
- Contribute to the annual planning cycle on the Carrier management and Carrier related product planning to shape the annual plan of the program
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business experience
- 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years experience in global logistic companies or closely working with global logistic programs
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
