Pays: $82,000 per year.
The Case Management Supervisor is responsible for maintaining the quality and effectiveness of recovery services provided. The position incorporates direct staff supervision and a range of administrative tasks related to clinical operations. She/he is responsible for maintaining OMH & OASAS regulatory compliance.
The Case Management Supervisor will provide administrative and clinical supervision of clinical activities as directed by the Director/ Senior Administrator. The Case Management Supervisor ensures strengths based, person centered quality of care provided in a culturally and linguistically meaningful therapeutic environment. KEY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Oversee all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the recovery and support department, establishing effective and efficient operations in accordance with agency, CCBHC and OMH & OASAS regulations.Manage the recovery support staff, including but not limited to the peer support specialists, psychiatric rehabilitative workers, and targeted cases managers, through hiring, orientation, training and total performance management ensuring the provision of comprehensive and integrated services.Supervise and coordinate all recovery support staff and workflow; including delegating assignments and monitoring effectiveness to ensure best practices within the program.Manage the staffing requirements for the practice including evaluating staffing needs and participating in the hiring process.Revise and implement efficient tracking of high-risk cases, threshold visits, and planned discharges in order to maximize utilization.Participate in clinical and administrative meetings, including but not limited to High Risk, Quality Assurance, PSYCKES, Care Transitions Network, QI Metrics, Incident Review Committee, and staff meetings.Monitor high risk cases and provide clinical recommendations on evidenced-based interventions and practices.Assist in crisis management and oversee subordinate's incident reporting to appropriate agencies (APS, Justice Center, NIMRS…etc.)Review and report of chart compliance with a goal of maintaining 100% compliance.Responsible for the oversight of job performance, guidance of employees and for the direct supervision of designated subordinate staff.Complete daily, weekly and monthly reporting as per ACACIA, CCBHC, OMH & OASAS mandates.Complete special projects and other duties as instructed by the DirectorResponsible to manage team budget and ensure fiscal viability.Ensure adherence to the scope of service.Lead and oversee efforts to provide services to mitigate risk factors and reduce hospitalizations.Oversee and/or lead program engagement and recovery and wellness events and workshops.Ensure full capacity through external relationship, marketing, etc.REQUIREMENTS:
3+ years previous relevant experience in a Mental or Behavioral Health environment required.Bachelor's degree in social work or related field is preferred.Previous Supervisory experience preferred.Certified Recovery Peer Specialist or Recovery Peer Advocate preferred.Ability to use business acumen to exercise good judgment and decision-making.Ability to deal with sensitive issues with diplomacy and discretion.Must be able to multitask with strong organizational skills.Excellent interpersonal skills and able to communicate both verbally and in written form.Commitment to cultural diversity and sensitivity.Ability to maintain a professional demeanor under pressure and operate with a keen sense of urgency and commitment to quality.Bilingual - Spanish strongly preferred.*Acacia Network is an equal opportunity employer*
