Case Manager

✨Join a group of passionate advocates on our mission to improve the lives of youth!  Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Case Manager at Pivot Point Youth Center in Las Vegas, Nevada✨ 

Pivot Point Center for Youth (PPCY) provides short-term residential treatment to girls between the ages of 12 to 18 who exhibit maladaptive patterns of behavior, special needs, moderate mental health disorders, and emotional and behavioral disturbances. Youth may have a history of trauma, substance use disorders, and long-term involvement within the Department of Juvenile Justice Services. We expect youth to have to present behaviors and impairments that affect their ability to be safe in a home-like setting. ROP will provide quality treatment, education, 24-hour supervision, cognitive, behavioral, social, vocational and other skills and services for youth who are completing placement or for those awaiting adjudication by the Court. 

Pay: Starting at $20.00 per hour.

What you will do: As a Case Manager, you are responsible for administrating, developing and facilitating the completion of case plans and treatment programs  ~ Develop and oversee the completion of the MAP Plan ~ Provide monthly progress notes and weekly student updates ~  Facilitate weekly group meetings ~ Conduct assigned responsibilities with respect, consideration, encouragement, positive guidance, and utilization of resources towards the youths’ overall success. 

To be considered you should: Be empathetic, patient, consistent, compassionate, an honest work ethic, and treat others with respect ~  Have a desire to work with troubled teens ~ Have a BA/BS in a related field ~ Have prior case management experience, including 3 years with youth and/or juvenile placement agencies ~ Be at least 21 years of age ~ Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test ~ Be able to pass a search of the child abuse central registry. 

Schedule:  

Tuesday – Saturday ~ 9am - 6pm.*1-hour break each day.
