Amergis Healthcare Staffing is partnered with a much respected facility in Danvers, MA who is currently seeking a mental health worker to assist them at their Clinical Service Center on a contractual basis.  

Details of the position include:

Location: Danvers, MA

Duration: 13 weeks to start with likelihood of extension

Setting: Psychiatric/Behavioral 

Openings: Monday-Friday 8a-4p, NO weekends or on call

Salary: $28/hr 

 

POSITION DESCRIPTION: 

– Provide community outreach to each individual as part of the multi-disciplinary team

– Provide side by side interventions that focus on problem solving, skill training modeling, optimism and encouragement

– Work with the team and each individual in the development of a person-centered treatment plan

– Assist each individual in being fully integrated in their communities by supporting them in the development of natural supports

– Empower each individual to exercise control over their lives, focused on their treatment, leisure activities, employment and their personal recovery

– Required to go to patient’s homes (caseload is 5-8 patients and ages 18-50)

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

– Valid driver’s license

– Reliable vehicle as you will be asked to take clients out into the community

– 1+ years prior experience working with adults having severe and persistent mental illness
