Case Planner Supervisor

Responsibilities Program Summary: To provide direction, information, and instruction to case planners to maintain the provision of appropriate services to birth families, children, and foster parents. Responsibilities: + Weekly supervision of assigned staff provide/include: + Compliance with Administration of Children’s Services (ACS) and New York State Department of Social Services regulations. + Provision of services to children and families to ensure the earliest possible return home or, in the event of a goal change, discharge to adoption, independent living, etc. + Ensure that concurrent planning, early permanency planning, and use of family-to-family approach is in place. + Monitor the timely submission of all paperwork to ACS. + Monitor and participate in Family Team Conferences; observe workers’ overall relationships with clients and other systems. + Monthly review of progress notes and casework contacts for each caseload: all FASP’s, Permanency Hearing Reports, and all written materials submitted from the agency. + Monthly unit meetings with case planners to disseminate information. + Attendance of manager’s meeting and in-service training. + Handle emergencies for case planners and other supervisors. + To perform other job-related tasks and duties as assigned.
