Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Cash Accountant in the bustling city of Stamford, Connecticut. This role is within the hospitality industry, and involves a blend of treasury and accounting tasks. The work setting involves three days in the office per week, ensuring a balanced work schedule. Responsibilities • Oversee daily banking operations and activities • Manage cash flow and maintain optimal cash balances • Prepare and execute wire transfers as per the need • Handle bank reconciliations diligently to ensure accuracy • Prepare and maintain regular reports on bank balances • Record and manage journal entries for accounting purposes • Participate actively in the month-end close processes • Assist in managing the treasury function within the organization. Requirements • Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field. • Proficiency in Bank Reconciliations is necessary. • Ability to manage Cash Balance effectively is expected. • Demonstrable skills in Cash Management are essential.
